The Architect
Architect Ines Lobo is visiting Professor of Architecture Projects to 4th year students at the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa. She had an exclusive collaboration with the Atelier of architect João Luís Carrilho da Graça. Ines. Lobo has received numerous principal Invitations to tender on various projects including : for the Creation of the Palmela Municipal Archives Palmela , the Faculty of Sciences and Sport Building in Centre II, Coimbra University, the Museum Centre of the Ordem São João de Deus, in Telhal and 150 Low-Cost Housing, in Madrid .
She says of her Bom Sucesso design:
"The project aims to emphasize the unique natural characteristics of the location as means of its promotion. The houses are located to the east and swimming pools to the west, freeing up as much space as possible for the garden between neighbouring houses. (…) This disposition affords lighting and a spatial perception related, as I remember, to the solid and thick house walls of days gone by."

The villa is part of Bom Sucesso Design Resort Leisure Golf and Spa.
The Design resort presents the most ambitious project ever planned for a luxury tourist resort. Built over an area covering 1 576 210 sqm, Bom Sucesso will contain 601 houses – both villas and townhouses – a hotel with a Spa, an 18 hole Championship golf course, an unparalleled range of facilities and a large ecological reserve.
It was developed as a model of excellence, with contemporary architecture as the cornerstone of its concept strategy. A group of highly qualified architects, both Portuguese and foreign, developed an innovative concept; contemporary architecture blended into the landscape.
Portugal's Directorate-General for Tourism (DGT) has classified the resort Bom Sucesso with a five-star classification. This classification refers to the total 601 units of the complex (villas or townhouses) and represents a crucial advantage in relation to the rental of the tourism units.
Golf at Bom Sucesso
The resort benefits from an 18 hole Championship Golf Course stretching along the length of the resort shaping the housing centres, the Hotel & SPA and the other leisure facilities. The golf course, designed by the world-renowned architect Donald Steel is projected to be open in the spring of 2008. It was constructed by Nigel Ely, currently the Chairman of the British Association of Golf Course Constructors
