Location:
Salir do Porto and Sao Martinho do Porto are traditional Portuguese fishing villages with a resident population. The waterfront is lined with traditional cafes, bars and seafood restaurants. Another three new golf courses are currently in design and approval stage, one of them being in So Martinho do Porto and another at Foz do Arelho which is just five minutes drive away.
There are also plans to build six more over the next few years. These golf courses will attract a slice of the country's sports-tourism to the region, generating more revenue and fuelling the need for quality tourist accommodation.
